The Champions of Equality Gala is one of South Florida’s most anticipated events, uniting leaders from across the political, civic, and nonprofit sectors. SAVE, South Florida’s longest-serving advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, is proud to host its 20th Annual Champions of Equality Awards Gala on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
This year’s distinguished honorees include internationally renowned drag performer and activist Latrice Royale and Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, recognized for their unwavering commitment to advancing equality, dignity, and justice for the LGBTQ+ community.
The evening begins with a 6:30 PM Reception, followed by Dinner and Awards at 7:30 PM. Guests will enjoy special performances, a silent auction, and a celebration of SAVE’s mission. SAVE is also thrilled to feature a live performance by Maya Azucena, the internationally acclaimed singer, recording artist, and humanitarian whose powerful voice and advocacy for social justice promise to make the night unforgettable.
